Maddie K? Bootsie? Maddie Wesley?

Hello everyone! This will be my introduction post!

Maddie K? Well, my family likes to joke and say that I'm "extra" so my mom made up, "Maddie K" with the "K" standing for Kardashian. It's cool I guess, It's one of those things that's funny the first maybe 100 times and then after that it is just kinda overplayed.

Bootsie? This is a word I heard back in 2016 that it takes a special person to understand. When I first meet someone and they can understand the word "bootsie" using context clues, I 100% that I am going to get along with them. I use it all the time, you'll either catch on or you just won't. There is no other way of putting it.

Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read my first post! I am still learning my way around this site so stay with me! For those of you who do not know me, hello and welcome to my thoughts (they might get crazy). I am a Junior at Old Dominion University where I am full time student, majoring in Criminal Justice and Minoring in Children's Right's. I plan to go on to law school upon graduation in the spring of 2019. I am a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity and serve on the executive council board. I currently work at Wells Fargo as a Teller.

Unfortunately, I lost my mother on December 7th, 2015, but am still learning from her every day I have an insane 88-year-old grandpa who literally gives me life, and an awesome pup named Bodie. I have 2 sisters, 1 brother, and two nieces. My dad is essentially a 2-in-one because he is the best dad/mom anyone could be.

I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia in Little Neck. My parents were together up until my mom tragically and unexpectedly passed away in 2015. I didn't grow up with pets, which is weird because I don't even like dogs....I'm just obsessed with mine!

My first couple bloggs will be about more getting to know me. I feel like it is important to get to know who I am so you can interpret my writing the exact way I would be expressing it (trust me that is really easy). After that, I will be posting about anything recommended to me (hey theres this cool link on the bottom that you can fill out to feel legit or just text me thats also cool).

I can not wait to get this thing rollin!
